BSc Physiotherapy

A Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program typically spans four years and is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and the principles of physiotherapy. Clinical training is a significant component of a BPT program. Students typically undergo supervised clinical rotations in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, Throughout the program, students may also engage in seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of physiotherapy. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply for licensure or registration to practice as physiotherapists in
their respective jurisdictions.

Average Salary

As of my last update in January 2022, the starting salary for a BPT graduate in India typically ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month in the public sector or in small private clinics. However, with experience and specialization, physiotherapists can earn significantly higher salaries. In larger private hospitals, the salary could be higher, sometimes ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 or more per month for fresh graduates.
