Rashtriya Sikshana Samithi Trust was established within the year 1940 Sri. M.C. Shivanada Sarma, a mightly man of miracles hailing from a little village near Mysore & established a grade school with only 6 students in this city of Bangalore. He approached a variety of Philanthropists and merchants & with their donation started building R.V. Institutions.
The following institutions are managed by the Trust under the ideas of Dr. MK Panduranga Setty, a number one industrialist of Karnataka & also the Rotary Club Director & a team of dedicated trustees. The trust has been rendering a yeoman service within the field of education.
D A Pandu Memorial R.V Dental College was established in 1992 previously affiliated to Bangalore University & presently to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, approved & recognized by the Dental Council of India. The D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V. Dental College & Hospital is found in a spacious building & equipped with the state of the art equipment to treat Dental & Oral Diseases. The D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V. Dental College features an academically sound faculty altogether the branches of Dentistry with many experiences.
The College offers the Bachelor of dentistry (BDS) course,(Bachelor of Dental Surgery). the school offers a Postgraduate course altogether the 9 specialties of Dentistry.
The College has been involved distinctively within the field of Community Dental Health Programme in rural areas. the small print of this has been furnished. Our institution was the primary to possess Mobile Dental Van in Bangalore city. The equipment was donated by the Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints, USA. the target of this program was to show our students to figure within the rural setup of our country, to enable them to figure in rural areas after graduating. The institution has organized a variety of continuous dental education schemes, Lectures & Workshops involving various National & International Speakers which has enabled our students & faculty to acquaint themselves with the recent advances.
