Vydehi Institute of Dental Sciences offers quality education in Bachelor of dentistry (BDS) and Master of dentistry (MDS). the school has state of the art infrastructure and highly dedicated faculty. it’s located in Vydehi’s main campus, in Bangalore. The 4-year BDS course and three year MDS course provides students with ample opportunities within the field of oral healthcare. Students are made to be thorough with the concepts of general health sciences, develop high levels of professionalism, and familiar with logical reasoning and important deciding skills that might help them to form an excellent and prosperous career within the dental field.
In the first year of the BDS course students would learn about labs,patient,clinics,etc.The curriculum for the second year helps the scholars to further develop their preclinical skills. The third and fourth year curriculum gives the ultimate shape to the scholars once they provide clinical treatment, attend specific lectures, and obtain accustomed with general hospital postings. Students hands on experience in treating patients and obtain the chance to collect experience altogether the fields of dentistry.
Students are exposed to big variety of clinical cases and at the top of three years, they’re experts in their subject with at the most knowledge, clinical experience and confidence that helps them to form difference in community health and being own boss and own a practice . Postgraduate students are trained and encouraged to present papers and journals on both national and international platforms. the scholars are exposed to diverse nature of clinical cases with various maxillofacial pathologies helping the scholars to acquaint themselves on management of such challenging situations.
The college conducts regular conferences, CDE programmes, competitions, clinical meets where both national and international speakers are invited, allowing students to realize tremendous knowledge.
